The Georgia institutional-service pilot

LymeOrg now lists Archbold Infectious Disease in Thomasville and SGMC Infectious Disease in Valdosta. Both official health-system service pages explicitly include Lyme disease in their published scope. The records also use official clinic contact pages to confirm location and phone details.

These are institutional care-resource listings. They identify real services and make their sources visible. They do not rate the services, endorse a treatment approach, or claim that a particular clinician has completed LymeOrg's individual license review.

The publication standard

• Institutional identity, website, service location, phone, and published Lyme or tick-borne scope must come from official sources.
• Access details such as referral guidance and scheduling numbers are included only when the institution publishes them.
• Every listing separates checked facts from missing details and shows the review date, source links, and next review date.
• Availability, insurance, fees, telemedicine, and the clinician assigned to care must be confirmed directly when the official source does not state them.
• An individual clinician profile also requires current professional license status and public board-history verification.
• No listing is a recommendation, ranking, certification, referral, or endorsement.

Start with primary sources

CDC advises that many primary care clinicians and pediatricians in areas where Lyme disease is common are familiar with diagnosis and treatment. For complicated cases or areas where Lyme disease is less common, an infectious disease referral may be appropriate. A state medical board can confirm whether the clinician assigned to care has a current license and any public board orders.
